The sun is shining, spring has arrived… but we are in Lock Down.
Well, this does not need to hold us back from getting into the spring time mood of awakening and renewal. I am hearing from friends and clients that they already completed a physical spring clean of their homes over and over out of boredom. Rooms are sparkling clean and decluttered, drawers and cabinets tidied up and all plants in the garden trimmed.
So if that’s all done, how about doing a spring clean of your life? This could be a fun activity where you pause, look at your life from a bird’s eye view and ask yourself questions such as:
- what are my top three goals this year?
- what new habits do I want to practise?
- what do I want to let go of as it no longer serves me?
These questions are designed to give you new focus and drive, so that you become more effective in living the life you want.
If you are up for this type of exercise, then I have a very simply worksheet that you can download here:
The worksheet prompts you to answer the above questions and a few more. Once completed, you can hang it up somewhere were you can see it everyday.
If you like, you can also send me your completed worksheet and ask me to hold you accountable for taking the actions you committed to. I will then email you on your chosen date to check whether you completed those tasks. I would do this completely free. It’s a small contribution from me, but I know this type of accountability can help massively. It may just be the tiny step that is required to move you from “I like the idea of taking actions” to actually completing them.
So what do you think? Are you game?
I look forward to reading your spring clean plans!
