
Job vacancies in the UK are down by 70%, but (at least for highly skilled workers) it’s not all gloomy. One of my lawyer clients was made redundant a month ago, and I was pleasantly surprised that he landed four interviews in just one week. He received two highly attractive job offers and had the very nice problem of having to make a hard decision between the two; even though his CV was not a perfect match for either of the roles.

Maybe, but companies ARE still hiring and as employees are less willing to move jobs right now, some employers struggle to attract talent.
