Whilst I am a big advocate of choosing a career you love, there is of course more to life than your job. You will need to maintain a healthy balance with your wellbeing, the time you spend with your loved ones, your social life, fun and other interests you may have.
If you feel stressed, irritable or even burned out or depressed, let’s have a look at what‘s causing this.
You may be asking yourself questions like the following:
- How much of the stress I suffer from can I actually control?
- How is it possible that others are less affected by stress?
- How can I become more resilient towards stress?
- How much stress do I actually create myself through my mindset?
- Should I look for a different job with less stress?
My Stress Management Programme will enable you to find answers to these questions and then use this information to create new strategies for better stress management.
WHEN IS IT TIME TO ADDRESS YOUR STRESS LEVELS?
Looking at your stress levels will be particularly important if:
- you feel burned out or depressed
- you are often irritable
- you suffer from stress-related health issues
- you feel that you are missing out on life
- your personal relationships suffer because of work
- you feel overwhelmed or even anxious
- you fall ill more often than others
- the quality of your work has started to suffer
- you dread going to the office
- you find it difficult to switch off and relax.
These are warning signs that something needs to be addressed in your life. Do listen to them! I experienced most of the above symptoms, but took no notice. I burned out badly and fell seriously ill for two years. I don’t want this for you!
One of my philosophies is to aim for “feeling” alive as much as possible, rather than just “being” alive. Instead of sleep-walking through the daily grind like a zombie on a treadmill, there is a path that leads to a healthy life balance with fulfilment, excitement, joy and wonder.
Fancy exploring what your path could look like?

How does THE STRESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME work?
If you want to hire me as your life coach in London (or via Skype) to work on your stress management, we will look at your life holistically to ensure that you create a healthy balance of all areas in your life that are important to you.
We will create a bespoke programme based on your personal goals and challenges. Most likely, we will start by taking stock of your stress levels and what’s causing them. From there, in a series of coaching conversations, we can explore how you can reduce or manage stress more effectively. We will also establish how satisfied you are with your life generally, what’s missing and what needs to change to create more joy and balance.
Where appropriate, I can teach you techniques to reduce your stress levels, such as meditation, breathing exercises or other strategies for relaxation and stress relief.
WHY WORK WITH A STRESS COACH?
Coaching is a fantastic way to gain more clarity about what you want from life and then to help you hit your goals faster.
As a coach I can help you see what you cannot see yourself. I will create a framework for your life projects that will make it easier for you to stick to your commitments and achieve your goals. I will hold you accountable for creating the success you desire; and I will be by your side to help you deal with any challenges you may encounter on the way.
As part of your life coaching journey, we will not only cover practical strategies; we will also explore how your mindset may impact on your personal effectiveness. When you understand how you and others function as individual human beings, that’s when the true magic of coaching happens: you will improve your emotional intelligence and personal effectiveness.
WHY ME?
People hire me as their stress coach or lifestyle coach because I walked my talk. I was one of those corporate workers who burnt themselves out in a job that did not inspire me any more. In fact, I burned out so badly that I was ill for two years. This health crisis prompted me to re-evaluate my life. After 23 years of working in law and financial services in the City of London, I was finally brave enough to leave the golden cage of corporate life. I followed my love of personal growth and retrained to become a transformational coach. I now draw on my studies in the areas of personal growth that I have been pursuing since my teenage years; and I still make sure that I keep learning each and every year so that I can improve the value I create for my clients.
I can help you create more fulfilment in your life too.
